On October 14, 2025, the University of Latvia Centre for Diaspora and Migration Research will host a workshop within the HORIZON ERC project “Welcoming Immigrants in Central and Eastern Europe: Lessons from Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine” (WICE). The event will feature presentations from project's researchers on migration governance, securitisation, media portrayals of minorities, and innovative digital research methods, followed by discussions.

The workshop will take place in person at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Aspazijas boulevard 5, Riga (Room 322), with the option to join online via this link.
